Today I am going to keep it simple and say I am grateful for family, those both near and far. I am so thrilled that I get to spend time with a bunch of my family members today.
I know the holidays aren't perfect, but I love this time of year for so many reasons; it's a time of magic -particularly for the little ones in our lives - and a time of joy, a time of remembrance and togetherness, and a time of giving and loving. So even though things can get harried with the shopping and the baking and the hosting or visiting, I still try hard to see Christmas at its essence, filled with traditions and love.
I hope, whether you celebrate a holiday or not, you are warm, happy, and loved at this special time of year.
