Aww, So Helpful!

My little man has been quite the helper these days. One of his favorite tasks has been helping set the table. He sneaks his hand past the child lock to get the hot pads for the table.

And again to get out the place mats.

And he sets them lovingly on the table.

It's actually quite adorable, and I don't mind the help a bit. It certainly keeps him busy as he has to get each thing (2 hot pads and 2 place mats) one at a time.

Oh, and did I mention he can drive?

Okay, not exactly. But he did let himself into my husband's car, climb up on the driver's seat, and start playing with the steering wheel and wiper control ... all by himself.

Yeah, he's gonna be one of those kids you see on the news who steals their parents' car at age five. Oy!
