The weather was beautiful yesterday, so we took a stroll around our neighborhood. Baylor took off running at the beginning, but after a quick stop at Grandma's house (no one was home) his sails were a little deflated and he walked more than ran. He did want to hold my hand, though, so we walk/ran along the sidewalk.
Up the hill at the cul-de-sac and back down, he stayed with me. We looked for fire hydrants and kept a running total as we went. After crossing the street, while looking for the fourth fire hydrant, he declared that he wanted to hold his sister's hand.
So I let go. Baylor went to her, pulled her hands apart from one another, and held onto one.

It was such a sweet moment as we walked along, the kids hand in hand.
