The Fine Art of Eating Ice Cream

Nothing says summer like a nice cone of soft serve ice cream.  Baylor got this summer's first taste of it the other day, and he went after with gusto, just like he does everything.

We had to coach him a little on the details ... licking around the cone to keep the ice cream from dripping and such.

That ended up not going overly well, so we took the top ice cream off for Mollie to eat and left Baylor to tackle the cone.  You'd think that'd be easy enough.

At this point Aunt Christine started looking a little nervous.  Mollie, however, was blissfully unaware ...

... that her brother was bypassing standard cone eating protocol and was gnawing away at the bottom of the cone, allowing the top to drip all over.  Oh, and by this point the cone was starting to turn soggy.  It was a messy situation, to say the least.

He ended up having to ride home wearing nothing but his diaper; he was THAT messy.  But hey, you know it's a good trip for ice cream when you have to go home naked!
