The first few visits were very dry affairs.
He'd walk around the perimeter to check things out, hesitant to venture into the spraying water. He would, however, stop to check out some girls sitting near the action.
The very idea of a fountain you can run through excited him, no matter how wary he was of going in.
Mollie enjoyed watching from the sidelines, happy to have a little attention from the adults not engrossed in Baylor's antics.
This is as close to the action he'd get the first day. Shoes wet, but not much else.
On subsequent days, however, he ventured in ... with a little help from Daddy.

Running through the streams of water is fine and all, but putting your hands out so you can feel droplets ... PERFECT!
Afterwards, it's key to get nice and warm.
I went in with him the time after this and got absolutely soaked ... and had a total blast! There's nothing like playing with your kiddo to make your worries fly free.
