Charlevoix: Home and Garden

The site of our vacation this year is Charlevoix, Michigan, a lovely little town about three hours north of our hometown. My sister found this house using homeaway.com, a great site to visit if you're looking for a home to stay at while on vacation. Isn't it the picture of perfection?


I am especially impressed with the garden surrounding the house. The front walkway alone is out of a dream.

In the beds you can find phlox ...

... sweet pea ...

... Queen Anne's Lace ...

... thistle ...

... and a whole host of other gorgeous blooms. I could have spent all day photographing and admiring the flowers around the house.
