When I was younger, Shark Week (on the Discovery Channel) meant sleepovers with friends and taking in as many shark shows as I could. Now, having two kids as young as mine are, it means DVRing a few shows and watching them weeks later when I have the chance. Don't get me wrong, we snuck in a few shows here and there with the kiddos, shows that wouldn't traumatize them for life. But since we try to keep the television off most of the time anyways, we kept all Shark Week viewing to a minimum.
When we did watch Shark Week shows, Baylor was his usual subdued self, coolly observing the action. Mollie, on the other hand, was excited. Like, jump out of your seat, point at the television excited.

Then she got a little closer ... you know, to really examine the action.
It was just all so exciting!
After shrieking and pointing at the television for a few minutes she had to sit down.
Someday, when the kids are older, I just know we'll have tons of fun watching Shark Week together!
