Miss Amalia has had quite a week since I last wrote. She has cut four new teeth, with two more expected to break through any day now. That brings her grand teeth total to six, soon to be eight! Yikes! Needless to say, she's been a bit out of sorts; not so much unhappy, just more particular than usual.
She is also working on walking. At almost eleven months, she stands on her own for up to twenty or thirty seconds when she is entirely distracted by something and has taken a couple steps here and there. Walking is imminent.
Last night, on Valentine's Day, she perfected blowing kisses to people! It was amazingly adorable.
And she no longer wants to sit still for anything. Diaper and clothing changes in particular are getting to be quite challenging. It takes an unbelievable amount of distraction to get her to sit still on the changing table, and I'm still figuring out how to get her to stay laying down.
She's amazing, she's wonderful, she's curious. She's our Mollie girl.
