Amalia is still sleepy. She sleeps a decent amount during the day, and she has slept through the night three times already. (Thank you again and again, my dear girl!)
Baylor is fascinated with some of her toys (some of which used to be his). This proves a problem at times, but he quickly moves on to other things so it's not been a huge deal.
He has been FAR more interested in the telephone as of late. I honestly didn't think I'd see a picture like this of my son until he was a teenager with a girlfriend. Oy!
He has also been very into washing his hands. Oma helped him do it once after he touched the toilet and ever since he's been all over it. He'll even tell a little handwashing story: "Wash ... soap ... scrub, scrub, scrub." He also discovered the baby wipes we have in the living room now for first-floor diaper changes, and he has taken to opening the box, stealing a wipe, "washing" his hands with it, announcing "Trash!", scurrying to the kitchen, and throwing it away. He'll do this over and over again if we let him.
Baylor has also fallen back in love with spinning anything and everything. His teething duck, his blocks, his stacking rings, our living room coasters ... even his baseball tee!

Since Friday evening, eating has resumed with the little man. See how happy he is to have gotten pasta yesterday for lunch?
Have I mentioned she sleeps a lot?
Baylor is still having trouble with the hard "c/k" sound; he often replaces the "c/k" in a word with a "t" or a "d" sound. So certain words come out a little funny ... "pink" ends up sounding like "bitch", "six" sounds like "shit". Those sorts of things. It does make for entertaining conversations, though.

We're all still getting to know each other, with a new member of the family and all, but we're getting there. I am still struggling with Mollie's cues, everyday testing here and there to figure out if I've got it right. But we're getting there. I just have to look around sometimes and remember that getting there is often half the fun.
