Ni Hao, Dad!

My dad left yesterday for a long business trip to China! Not being a fan of goodbyes and a nervous wreck when my loved ones are traveling, I have had a few weepy moments over the last few days to say the least. But I thought I'd post a few pictures from a recent book session my dad and Baylor had before he left.

While he doesn't mind sitting on the couch ...

Little B much prefers a lap when reading.

Whenever my dad reads to him, Baylor will sit there, listening intently, and tug at my dad's arm hair mindlessly. It's awfully cute!

As he did when my sister and I were little, he reads stories with wonderful gusto and cadence.

Come home soon, Dad! We miss you already!
