My Polar Bear

Since the beginning, Baylor has been a warm-bodied little guy just like his dad.  Both of them radiate heat like nobody's business.  So I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when Baylor decided to cool off on our three-season porch ... in just a t-shirt, socks, and diaper.

He looked cold at one point, teeth chattering and all, so I pulled him kicking and protesting back into the house.  That lasted all of about two minutes, and soon he was back outside enjoying his polar bear time.  He wanted to leave the slider door open, but Mollie gets cold very easily so I knew we had to keep it shut.

But, the little lady always wants to be wherever her brother is, so she mostly just stood at the door waiting for him to come back in.

Eventually, after about a half an hour of freezing cold fun, it was time for him to come back inside for a nap.  The skin on his arms and legs was ice cold, but he didn't seem to care; he had had a lot of fun and got to enjoy it on the porch he so loves.  It'll be nice when the weather warms up and we can have that door open again.

Until then, that will be Baylor's polar bear room to enjoy.
