Cape Cod: Here We Come!

As I mentioned previously, we are taking our second vacation of the year (thank you again, Mom and Dad!) and this time we're visiting Cape Cod! More specifically, we are staying in Chatham, MA and then taking little trips to surrounding towns in the area.

We left early Saturday morning ... and Little B wasn't too happy about being woken up, forced into clothes, and given breakfast at such an early hour.

But, we got him in good spirits by the time we left. And by the time we got on the plane, he was ready to make new friends. The people behind us on the Detroit-Boston leg couldn't get enough of him!

Though he slept on the GR-Detroit leg, he was wide awake the second leg. Which meant that Daddy got to hold him a bit, too!

When Aunt Christine went to the bathroom, we decided to let our squirmy little guy try out an airplane seat. He liked it a lot and sat very well.

We finally made it to Logan Airport in Boston! Whew! It's amazing how much energy you can expend trying to keep up with a wiggly little 9 month-old. Once we got off the plane, we promptly got him into his stroller so he could wiggle relatively unencumbered. He was endlessly curious about the people mover ... and what Daddy was doing behind him.

"Hi, Mom. What's with all the pictures?"

Mom and Dad picked us up at the airport ... they decided to drive out to Massachusetts, in part so we'd have a car and not have to worry about how much we packed. We all made the two hour drive out to Chatham and have settled in nicely. The house is beautiful (good job, Christine!) and the atmosphere here in New England is certainly interesting. I'll post pictures and commentary as often as I have the chance!
