Little Man's Work Bench

The other day at Target, we decided to use a gift card we'd acquired over Christmas to get the little man his very own workbench! The whole thing came stored in the blue tub with the yellow lid and can all be put back in for easy portability. Bonus!

It took a little direction, but Baylor soon got the hang of it. The set comes with screws and nails and the assorted tools needed to drive them. He's gotten even better at hammering especially since this picture was taken.

And, of course, we had to stop for a minute to smile for the camera.

He gets the gist of the screwdriver, but as Bryson pointed out tonight he doesn't have the patience to turn it all the times it needs to be turned to get it fully into the workbench or piece of "wood". No matter, he'll get there in time!

Working with tools like this is good for the little man's hand-eye coordination. Plus, he'll be handy around the house in no time!

This was just one of four cute little sets made by Fisher Price; the other three were a kitchen/stove top set, a baby care set, and a doctor set. Target also had a few art supply sets. They are pretty awesome, and I love it that they are so portable!
