Yesterday was my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary! Amazing, huh? We took a little trip to Eaton Rapids yesterday to celebrate with them at the English Inn, and a lovely time was had by all.
Going around the table from left to right: me, hubby Bryson, sister Christine, Grandma Betty, Grandpa Chuck, Uncle Joe, Aunt Elaine, son, Dad, cousin Mindy, Mom, and Aunt Peggy. What a handsome bunch!
The happy couple! Grandpa just had surgery on his cataracts and is sans glasses for the first time in years. He bought that boutonniere just for Grandma ... a gardenia, just like she usually wears. How sweet!
The flower arrangement (one of two) ... great job, Mom! They were gorgeous!
Mom and Aunt Peggy after a few glasses of wine. Awesome.
My son showing his great-grandparents how to work a spoon. He was such a good boy!
Can you believe it?! Sixty years. It is an amazing accomplishment and should be an inspiration for all. Congratulations, Grandma and Grandpa!
