Today I am grateful that I do not live in the time of the Civil War and Lincoln's assassination. We just watched The Conspirator, and it was incredibly depressing and quite frightening that something like this could happen in our country. (It was, however, quite fascinating and a good movie overall.) That's all I'm going to say on the topic, though I have about a million thoughts swirling through my head at the moment; watch the movie for yourself, if you're interested, and see what you think.
